Why Printed Photos are So Important

The last reason why printed photos are so important is that they tell stories.

We wouldn’t bother taking photos if this wasn’t the case. Photos remind us of important times in our lives, like weddings and births and deaths. They also remind us of where we are going. One of my most treasured photos is one of me at my college graduation standing next to my beaming father. In that moment, neither of us knew where my life was heading, yet that photo captured the hope on both of our faces in a way no words ever could.

I think that the importance of photography overall is that it allows us to tell stories about ourselves and our friends and our families.
